Parks, recreation, and open space are important elements of all communities and provide many recreational, social, and environmental benefits that contribute to a high quality of life. The City of Walker recognized the importance of recreation planning and chose to take an active role in the delivery of recreational opportunities by updating the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
