Central Standale Subarea Plans

The Walker Standale Downtown Development Authority has plans to enhance a community space in the central part of Standale. This area is located between Kinney and Cummings, behind the Fire Station, and extends north to Community Park.

This follows a community survey that went out over the summer. Click here to view the results. 

A community Open House was held on October 29 for residents, businesses, and stakeholders. Using results from the survey, consultants with ROWE Professional Services Company displayed illustrations and renderings for people to ask questions and provide additional feedback.

Combining feedback from the Open House, community survey, and market analysis, ROWE will provide the DDA with recommendations for funding mechanisms, including TIF, grants, bonds, and public-private partnerships. Another community session is planned for mid-winter to review a draft plan for the DDA. Once that feedback is collected, ROWE will present the DDA with a final plan, which, if approved, will serve as a guide for implementing improvements within the area outlined below.
