Our staffed hours of operation are:
Monday-Friday: 5pm-9pm
Saturday-Sunday: 8am-8pm

Can the Hockey Pro Shop be accessed any time the facility is open?
Yes! Our facility's regular hours are Mon-Fri 5am-10pm and Sat-Sun 7am-8pm (summer hours: Mon-Thurs 5am-10pm; Fri 5am-8pm and Sat-Sun 7am-5pm) and you can make purchases or browse our extensive selection during any of these hours. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be someone available for consultation or for skate sharpening services at all times. Please feel free to call (616) 735-6286 with any questions.
What hockey companies does the Pro Shop work with?
We stock an extensive range of Bauer, Warrior, CCM, and Howie's Hockey products. Our large inventory of hockey equipment is perfect for all ages and skill levels. Whatever your skill level or budget, we can help you find the right gear to suit you.
What types of products does the the Hockey Pro Shop stock?
We have a large range of hockey equipment and supplies for all ages and skill levels. Accessories, pads, sticks, helmets, protective and base gear, bags and apparel are all in stock. We also, of course, have a wide range of skates covering a number of price points, from entry-level hockey skates through to our pro lines from top companies. Our staff are always happy to assist you in finding the right gear for your time on the ice. What types of help does the Hockey Pro Shop provide for equipment?
Our staff is passionate about hockey. All of our sales associates have extensive knowledge of hockey equipment and can ensure that you get the best possible fit for all of your purchases.
What's the WIFC return policy?
- Items can be returned for up to 30 days from the original purchase
- Items cannot be worn, used or otherwise damaged.
(this excludes defective products)
- You must have the original receipt
- Due to the nature of the products, no returns will be accepted for broken hockey sticks*

Does the WIFC bake skates?
Yes, we do! Our skate baking services cost $10 (no charge for 1st baking of skates purchased in our Hockey Pro Shop). Baking services are only available at certain times - we recommend calling ahead to ensure there's someone on site who can assist you. Call (616) 735-6286 for more information.
Does the WIFC Hockey Pro Shop provide skate sharpening services?
Yes, we do! Our skate sharpening services cost $5 (no charge for 1st sharpening of skates purchased in our Hockey Pro Shop). Does the WIFC Hockey Pro Shop sell goalie equipment?
The WIFC Hockey Pro Shop has goalie sticks and accessories available for youth and senior players. Other goalie equipment can be special ordered. If you'd like to order goalie equipment, please contact Ice Director, Mike Fountain, directly at mfountain@walkericeandfitness.com or (616) 735-6286 ext. 6112. Mike is a retired NHL, AHL and KHL goalie (he played, locally, for the Grand Rapids Griffins). As someone who played pro hockey for 17 years, he knows goalie equipment and will be happy to assist you!
